Beavis & Butthead: The Mike Judge Collection

I love Beavis and Butthead, and while other cartoons like South Park and Family Guy are more vulgar, there is nothing like watching an episode of Beavis and Butthead. Mike Judge has always said that he believes only a third of the episodes were any good. The remaining episodes are either ok, or just plain awful. I have to agree. Near the end of the run, Beavis and Butthead were in their prime. Mike Judge hand picked these episodes as his favorite from the series.
Stand Out Episodes
A majority of the 40 episodes in the collection are the Directors Cut versions that were never shown on TV. The episodes however do not contain the music videos.
 Mr. Anderson's Balls
Beavis & Butthead follow Mr. Anderson around on the golf course stealing his golf balls to sell and make money.
Late Night with Butt-Head.
Beavis and Butthead film their own talk show with Butthead acting like David Letterman and Beavis plays Paul Schaffer.
 The Great Cornholio
This is probably the most famous episode. When Beavis eats too much sugar he turns in to the Great Cornholio aksing for "teepee for my bunghole!"
Rabies Scare
Beavis is bitten by a dog on his way to school the boys believe he has contracted rabies.
Killing Time
Beavis and Butthead must entertain themselves for an hour before their TV show begins.

 Special Features
The third disc is filled with a nice collection of episodes. A collection of the music videos the boys watched including Pantera, Korn, and Hum. Also included is the Thanksgiving Day special and Video Music Award Appearances. A fun documentary on the making of Beavis and Butthead chronicles how Beavis and Butthead evolved from the original short Frog Baseball. What is really great is them showing the focus groups from 1992.
 Overall
This is a great collection from the show and features only the best from the series. Beavis and Butthead fans will adore. Recommended.
