TV Sets: Holiday Treats
Review by Lando da Pimp
Its still a few months away until Christmas, but you can get your holiday fix with the new CBS TV Sets: Holiday Treats. Eight Christmas themed episodes from I Love Lucy, The Honeymooners, The Andy Griffith Show, The Brady Bunch, Taxi, Family Ties, Frasier, and Wings make up this unique DVD collection.
The Episodes
I Love Lucy
I Love Lucy starts off with the lost Christmas episode. It is primarily a flash back show with clips on previous shows. In the episode Ricky and Lucy tell Little Ricky all about Santa claus.
The Honeymooners
Ralph wants to buy Alice a really nice Christmas gift this year. He doesn't have any money, so he decides to sell his bowling ball.
The Andy Griffith Show
Even when you are in the Mayberry jail you get to celebrate Christmas by Andy and Barney.

The Brady Bunch
A few days before Christmas, Carol loses her voice preventing her from singing at church. This puts the family's first Christmas celebration into a deep depression.
Taxi
Louie's brother shows up for the holidays, however the only thing he is interested in is playing cards.
Family Ties
Alex has lost his Christmas spirit. A visit from the ghosts of Christmas past and future shows him how much of a scrooge he has been.
Frasier
Disappointed that his son Fredric would not be visiting him for the holidays, Frasier volunteers to work the station on Christmas. It takes a group of strangers to show him the true meaning of Christmas
Wings
After their vacation plans are scrapped Joe, Brian, and Helen decide to celebrate Christmas with Fay. They discover that she is spending Christmas at home alone.

Special Features
No special features are included in the DVD.
Overall
I was estatic that Paramount put together this unique DVD. I am a sucker for Christmas themed episodes, and to include them into one collection is great. I was never a big fan of the older shows (Lucy & Honeymooners). The Family Ties and the Brady Bunch episodes are my favorites. My only complaint is that I want more episodes. Eight is not nearly enough!
