So I assume one or two of you have noticed the lack of updates. I was on vacation, and didn’t really feel like updating the site. I was on the beach relaxing. Well I’m back to work.
Like most people in this world I despised the first Ghost Rider film, so news of a second film didn’t sound like a good idea. At Comic Con the early buzz was that they got the second film right. I would agree based on the trailer. The effects look great, and this is easily a darker film. Then they ruin it with Ghost Rider peeing fire.

With the death of Bubba Smith this week, I got nostalgic, and watched a few of the Police Academy films. The humor was always juvenile, but I loved it. After an enjoyable Police Academy marathon, I was inspired to write this weeks list about the franchise. So what made up a good Police Academy film? Rifftrax is celebrating five years, and they put together a “Best Of” Reel.
Are you like me, and couldn’t finish The Hobbit? Were you sick of the long discussions of food and singing? Well no worries. Check out this video that tells the story of The Hobbit in two minutes.

Filming began in Pittsburgh today. They are filming right down the street from where I work. The area of town is called Lawrenceville on 41st street. It appears they are filming in an old home located on that street. Around the area is small amounts of snow which I assume will be added digitally later. You couldn’t see much. We did get a shot of Christopher Nolan walking away from the set. Click more for additional photos.
