heard more than a few people bemoan Ant-Man before they saw it. They thought Paul Rudd wouldn’t be a good super hero, and they thought it wouldn’t make for a good movie. People also bemoan the use of 3D in today’s blockbusters. I want to take a magnifying glass to this hill of bemoaning and fry it. Paul Rudd is a great Ant-Man, and Ant-Man is a great superhero movie. On top of that, the 3D in this film is a powerful tool that helps in immersing us in the world of the tiny.

Woo hoo! It’s finally here! October 21, 2015! The future!
I am participating this evening by taking my eight year old son to the theater to see Part II for the first time this evening. But I wanted you guys to see how long and ingrained our Back to the Future coverage has been on Millionaire Playboy. Due to a blog platform shift in the early twenty first century, I got two pages for you.
Here is our first batch of articles from our early blog. It includes reviews of the Welly and Sunstar die-cast Deloreans, the Flux Capacitor video we made, and reviews and photos of the minimates and kubricks. I still have all of these things on display proudly at home. Check out the Back to the Future toys reviews and photos.
Now zoom ahead to the future! I mean the common era and see all of our Contemporary articles. This is mostly cool videos and news about upcoming toys (some have already come out! Talk about looking to the future!)
We had a blast, and came away with tons of great finds, at this year’s Baltimore Comic Con at the Baltimore convention center. We were able to stick around for the costume contest this year, and we grabbed a load of books and toys. Click below to see all our pics!
Faith No More is currently on tour supporting their new album, Sol Invictus.

SDCC was a blast this year! I saw some of the new stuff that Hasbro is bringing out this year, took in Hall H panels on Doctor Who and The Hunger Games, presented a paper on superheroes and disabilities, and- of course- saw a lot of great cosplay.
I did not cosplay, but I did dress up for my panel and was told that my Dr. Spencer Reid (from Criminal Minds) was great.
Accidental cosplay doesn’t count, so here are a few of my favorite intentional costumes.
Kaiju Big Battel held the “Ends of the World” fighto, which ended up leveling Queens, this past weekend. Silver Potato, Kung Fu Chicken Noodle, Dr. Cube, Cycloptopus and more duked it out at the Flushing Elks Lodge in New York, bringing mayhem, destruction, and “live action Godzilla wrestling” to the unsuspecting denizens. The crowd was enthralled to witness the spectacle however. Check out my pics from the event below. In the interest of avoiding spoilers to the action, I won’t give you a play by play of each match.
Tate Blackmore here at Comic-Con International in San Diego! This morning Hasbro previewed some really cool stuff and they promise some huge reveals later this weekend. Check out the photos from the HasbroPreview Breakfast, and check back here for more updates!
