There have been many great movie villians. Star Wars has Darth Vader, Harry Potter has Voldermort, and A Christmas Story has Scott Farkus. The school bully with “yellow eyes” and “green teeth” terrorized the kids of Warren G. Harding Elementary School. Now NECA Toys has produced a great likeness of Scott Farkus to add to their A Christmas Story toy line.
Scott Farkus is 7 inchs high with 8 points of articulation. He is dressed in his removable coonskin hat, green sweater, leather jacket, and fingertip missing gloves. NECA has done an excellent job with the likeness. The other Christmas Story figures lacked the resemblance of the actors. With Scott, they got the evil grin with braces down perfectly. The shape of his eyes and eyebrows just enforces he is up to no good.
Overall
I really believe that the character of Scott Farkus is one of the best movie villians of all time. The film really portrayed him as the ultimate school bully. I’m not sure why it took NECA so long to provide a Scott Farkus figure. After all, next to Ralphie, he is the most interesting of the children characters. My only question is when are we going to see Grover Dill?
