All of our Back to the Future Coverage

Run for it Marty!Woo hoo! It’s finally here! October 21, 2015! The future!

I am participating this evening by taking my eight year old son to the theater to see Part II for the first time this evening. But I wanted you guys to see how long and ingrained our Back to the Future coverage has been on Millionaire Playboy. Due to a blog platform shift in the early twenty first century, I got two pages for you.

Here is our first batch of articles from our early blog. It includes reviews of the Welly and Sunstar die-cast Deloreans, the Flux Capacitor video we made, and reviews and photos of the minimates and kubricks. I still have all of these things on display proudly at home. Check out the Back to the Future toys reviews and photos.

Now zoom ahead to the future! I mean the common era and see all of our Contemporary articles. This is mostly cool videos and news about upcoming toys (some have already come out! Talk about looking to the future!)

Toy Fair 2014 – Diamond Select Toys

diamond_39

Diamond Select has also been one of my absolute favorite visits from way back in the beginning. I love the variety of props, collectibles, Mini-Mates, and other action figures all in one spot. This year was a bit tricky as there was all this cool stuff! that I couldn’t photograph or talk about. But let me take you on a tour of the cool stuff I did get to see and shoot. Like this dead-on Caesar Romero as Joker bust. Fantastic!

Back to the Future Looking Good

Finally, a trailer for the Back to the Future video game. I’m really digging the look of the game. Let’s hope the gameplay is just as good.

Complete Biff Tannen Bio

BTTF.com posted the complete “Biff Tannen bio” video that Marty watches in Back to the Future II on the monitor outside the Biff Tannen Museum and Casino.

The footage was digitized from an old VHS tape saved by somebody who had connections to the film production. Why this has never been included in a DVD release before doesn’t make sense. Luckily we get to see it.

Cinematical Bob Gale Interview

Over at Cinematical they did a great interview with Bob Gale. He addresses the Back to the Future IV rumors, the Eric Stoltz footage, fans disappointment in part III, and the crappy NES games. It’s a great interview in celebration of the Back to the Future Blu-Ray DVD set that is available today.

Back to the Future Game Behind the Scenes

Telltale Games provided a few behind-the-scenes video of the new Back to the Future game. Micheal J. Fox allowed his likeness, but sadly was unable to lend his voice. I was bummed at first, but the voice over guy they got did a great job. Check it out!

Classic Movie Quote: Back to the Future II

“Unbelievable, that old Biff could have chosen that particular date. It could mean that that point in time inherently contains some sort of cosmic significance. Almost as if it were the temporal junction point for the entire space-time continuum. On the other hand, it could just be an amazing coincidence.”

Every Monday we are going to feature a classic quote from our favorite films. Have a suggestion for a future feature? EmailLando Da Pimp.
