Happy 10th anniversary to Star Wars, Episode I: The Phantom Menace! Today marks 10 years since the release of the most anticipated film in history. Some were thrilled. Others feel their childhood was raped! Even with its flaws, I still enjoy the first Star Wars prequel. I clearly remember hitting the theater 4 hours before the midnight showing with all of my friends, discussing every aspect of Star Wars. In celebration of the 10 years since its release we are doing a very special Good Parts article. It’s easy to point out how George Lucas fucked up, but why be negative? Robot Hall of Fame – Roboworld

Carnegie Science Center provides the first look at experiences and exhibits in the
world’s largest robotics exhibition, opening June 13, 2009

PITTSBURGH, April 21, 2009 — Carnegie Science Center today revealed plans and exhibit details for roboworld™, the world’s largest and most comprehensive permanent robotics exhibition, opening June 13, 2009.

The $3.5 million exhibition will permanently occupy a 6,000 square-foot exhibit area on the second floor of the Science Center previously used for touring exhibitions and will feature several dozen hands-on, interactive exhibit stations focusing on the themes of robotic sensing, thinking, and acting.

I attended the Steel City Con Toy Show this weekend. Anthony Daniels was the special guest signing autographs and memoribillia for fans. I must say he is very into talking with the fans. A few times he walked around the line and had conversations with people.
