Happiness Is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown

The first new Peanuts DVD movie is being released on DVD next week. Happiness Is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown is based on old Peanuts strips by creator Charles Schulz. Andy Beall animator on Up and The Incredibles directed the new Peanuts film.

I like the look and feel of the trailer. It feels right. I don’t think they will ever be as great as the old Peanut films. Speaking of which, when is Race for Your Life Charlie Brown going to hit DVD?

Every year I look forward to watching all of the great Christmas specials on TV. It’s tradition at this point. Every year new Christmas specials are created. Most of them come and go never to be seen again. He-Man and She-Ra’s Christmas special comes to mind. A few have become iconic or essential.
