Indiana Jones 5

Shia LaBeouf was asked about the possibility of another Indiana Jones film. Here is what he said:

I talked to [Harrison Ford]. He said he’s staying in the gym, he said he’s heard no word, but he does know that (Lucas) is out there looking for a MacGuffin. He said he’s staying in the gym, so it means [the movie is] not so far off.

So I ask you, do you want to see another Indy film? My answer, is why not! If it sucks then we have two bad Indy films. It by chance Lucas and Spielberg get it right, then how great would it be!

George Lucas Bitchfest

The first trailer for The People vs. George Lucas is now online. Watch a group of people cry how George Lucas raped their childhood. Whhhaaaaaa….. I don’t like Jar Jar Whhhaaaaaa….. There is too much Star Wars merchandise Whhhaaaaaa….. listen to our horrible song about the evil George Lucas. Now I don’t proclaim that George Lucas is a God and can do no wrong, but really will anything be solved by bitching about it? The films are done! Don’t encourage him to revise them again!

Happy 10th anniversary to Star Wars, Episode I: The Phantom Menace! Today marks 10 years since the release of the most anticipated film in history. Some were thrilled. Others feel their childhood was raped! Even with its flaws, I still enjoy the first Star Wars prequel. George Lucas Announces Remake of Star Wars!

0_61_488395_starwars

This is probably the worst news. This morning, Lucas Film announced that George Lucas intends on remaking the original Star Wars trilogy starting in 2012. We don’t have too much information about this announcement yet. Here is his quote:

“Looking back at the original Star Wars trilogy, I came to the conclusion that the older films don’t match the quality of the newest trilogy. Watching Episodes 4 -6, made me realize that it was time to remake the original trilogy and update the films with a new cast. Todays kids don’t identify with the original trilogy. I would like to change that”

Howard The Duck, Special Edition?

I some how missed this piece of news. Yesterday Howard The Duck was released as a “Special Edition” DVD! This was the first film where people questioned George Lucas’s decision making. Afterall, this was the guy who brought us Star Wars and Indiana Jones. He then brings us a world of talking ducks.
