The good G.I. JOE movie is now hitting Blu-Ray. Brian Ward, Shout! Factory’s DVD producer, tweeted:
“So the print’s in excellent condition. Looks like we’ll be doing GI JOE: THE MOVIE on Blu-ray” and “…the end credits for GI JOE: THE MOVIE finally came in. Gonna have a complete HD transfer!”
I love the old G.I. JOE film. I already own a copy on DVD, but I would love to see it in HD!

I never knew that Big Lob was never made as a figure. I remember seeing the new figures from the film and being so excited. Especially for Tunnel Rat. Then I saw the film. He was so lame. G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra hits theaters today and some of you will be heading to the theaters to watch your childhood G.I. Joe team get raped in the ass by Paramount. However, you can’t just blame Paramount for taking advantage of the G.I. Joe franchise. Hasbro, has been sticking its finger up the ass of G.I. Joe for years. They chose to rape the franchise slowly compared to Paramount’s quick stick it in. So that is why I would like to provide you with the Essential Seven Dumbest G.I. Joe characters Hasbro has released. I was recently vacationing at Bethany Beach, (near Ocean City Maryland). On the way into town we passed this vintage toy store and I had to check it out. WOW, talk about a toygasm of vintage goodies cheap. Ninja Turtles, Star Trek, Star Wars, GI Joe, He-Man, Transformers, Playmobil, Thomas the Tank Engine and a whole room for boardgames. Aint It Cool News has the first two reader reviews of G.I. JOE – Rise of Cobra. I think the reviews are being kind. This film has got to be the biggest cluster-fuck. The best part is the statement that the film is “More Enjoyable Than TRANSFORMERS 2.” Well duh… That can’t be too hard to do. BEWARE OF SPOILERS (if you care)
