The final Harry Potter film hits theaters today, and I have a lot of expectations for this film! Over the years writers and directors have taken liberty with the source material, some good, and some bad. I understand the need to tweak certain scenes to adapt them to film. I also have some high expectations of things that can’t be screwed up. Key scenes, moments, and character development will be very important in this film. It is the last one!  That is why this week, I’ll drink a few butterbeers, and list the Essential Seven Deathly Hallows, Part 2 Expectations:

Forgot what happened in the last Harry Potter film? Never saw a Harry Potter film? Did you just wake up from a coma? If so then watch this video by the The Fine Bros. They recap all of the seven Harry Potter films.

Next month the Harry Potter films will end. I’m excited, but also very sad that the films will be completed.

Last night on the MTV Movie Awards after the best Kiss award went to Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, Emma introduced the Harry Potter “Killing Curse” clip from Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows – Part 2.

Earlier this week the geek blogs were all fooled by a fake trailer. Now the real one is online. It looks fantastic. I love the
Snape scenes, and if you pause the trailer near the end you can see the Molly Weasley scene. What do you think?

IGN has put together this year, “I wish it was real April Fools Joke.” I can easily see this becoming an amazing show.

The final poster for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 has been released. It features Harry and Voldermort holding the Elder wand. Now this is how a movie poster is done! I’m a bit sad that it will all end in a few months.
