Pittsburgh, — Orangestone Promotions, Inc., promoters of  the Steel City Con(http://www.steelcitycon.com) is celebrating 21 years as Pennsylvania’s Largest Toy, Comic Book and Pop Culture Convention this August 6-8, 2010 at the Monroeville Convention Center.   The celebrity guest list continues to build as Pittsburgh gets ready to host a national level show.  In addition to a massive selection of toys and comic books, attendees will be treated to signing appearances by many pop culture icons. Jake Lloyd (“Anakin Skywalker” from Star Wars) has will be doing a rare signing appearance in Pittsburgh. This past weekend I attended the Steel City Con (aka Pittsburgh Toy Show). My toy budget has been tight lately, so I thought I would conduct an experiment. With only seven dollars in my pocket, I was curious what kind of toys I could buy for a dollar each. I was shocked at some of the deals that I was able to get for a dollar. This past weekend was The Steel City Con (a.k.a The Pittsburgh Toy Show). This was the first of the three shows this year. This weekends big guest was John Schneider (Dukes of Hazzard & Smallville). My wife, daughter, and I all got to meet him, and have our picture taken in front of the General Lee.
