Nightsbridge at Ram’s Head Live

nightsbridge_11

Nightsbridge was one of the first bands I ever shot, way back at Towson’s Recher Theater. The theater is no longer a rock venue (Nightsbridge headlined their final show), and Nightsbridge has been moving up, appearing frequently on 98 Rock’s Noise in the Basement, and a rising fixture on the Baltimore scene. They’ve got a heavy rock STP or AC|DC sound.

Bad Seed Rising at Ram’s Head Live

bsr_22

Bad Seed Rising is one of the promising stars in Baltimore’s rock scene. Already signed to Road Runner Records, they’re the ones to watch. Their young age may seem like a novelty, but once you witness them live, in person, you’ll know that they’re so much more than a gimmick. I first shot them at the Charm City Fest back in 2012 and was blown away then. They’ve only grown and gotten an even stronger hold of the stage since then. Check out BadSeedRisingband.com for more videos and upcoming dates.

The Neighbourhood, Live in Baltimore

nbhd_02

The Neighbourhood, the band behind Sweater Weather played Ram’s Head Live in Baltimore last night. While they’re still earning their chops being on the road, they put on a killer show, and had the (young female) crowd singing along to every song. They kicked off with Silver and closed with Afraid. Here’s an interesting challenge: They asked for only black & white photography, so here we go.

TMBG in Baltimore

John Flansburgh's guitar

They Might Be Giants came by Ram’s Head Live in Baltimore on Saturday night. Promoting their new album Nanobots. They kicked off with Your Head is on Fire from that album and got Nanobots in near the end, but the majority of their set list contained crowd favorites and everyone was singing along.

Get the Led Out in Baltimore

ledout_01

Led Zeppelin cover band Get the Led Out played in Baltimore the other night. At first I was reluctant to shoot a coverband, but I do indeed love the Zep, and at the risk of sounding cliche’d, hearing Kasimir played live on stage in front of hundreds of screaming fans is an experience everyone should partake in at least once before they die. Click below for more photos.

AWOLNATION at Rams Head Live

Aaron Bruno

AWOLNATION wrapped up the American leg of their tour in Baltimore this week. I was wondering if the band would be visible drained, or would absolutely push it to the furthest they could and rock our faces off. Needless to say my face was rocked off. Aaron Bruno led the charge with flying fists and a banging head. Click below for more.
