This is just possibly the greatest idea for a costume. Check out this costume of Krang in his android costume. Krang moves his controls and speaks. Amazing.
The action figure market is primarily dominated by male action figures. Little boys don’t want a girl action figure. Because of this, very few female characters are ever created for toy lines. Princess Leia, April O’Neil, and Scarlett are a few of the more successful female action figures.
The older collector market is not affected by gender. We embrace unique toy lines, and the lesser known characters. That leads to this week’s list the Essential Seven Female Action Figure Wishlist:
Just a reminder that Turtles Forever premiers tomorrow morning on your local CW4Kids station. I will be sitting in front of the TV with my bowl of cereal ready to cringe at this very strange film.
A reader sent me this clip of an upcomingmovie Turtles Forever. The story has the first Turtles cartoon meeting up with the latest Turtles cartoon. Apparently this was going to hit theaters, but a dispute is now forcing it to be a direct to DVD release. This clip is very strange, and brought back a lot of memories. Was the original show that goofy?
Our friends over at ActionFigureInsider had a great interview with Randy Falk, from NECA Toys. The interview was conducted at Comic Con 2009. Randy discusses the future on video game properties, the Ninja Turtles line, and some info for you Twilight fans.
Peter Lairdposted a blog today announcing that NECA’s 2009 Comic Con exclusive will be April O’Neil. The figure will come with a battle damaged mouser. Peter also goes on to say that “We are going to try to make arrangements to offer a small amount of figures online for those who can not attend SDCC.”
We saw a lot of really great new figures from NECA. As always the sculpts are beautiful. Turtles are back, Gears of War, Terminator 2, and of course Harry Potter all debuted today!
Is it possible? My foundation has been rocked. This is one of the best executions of an action figure (set) that I have ever seen. Even the most perfect of intentions suffers the occasional short coming, but this set is about as close to perfect, that I could ever dream of achieving.
