Since 1908 it seems like a film or television show has taken the idea or adaption of Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol. A few of the adaptions have stood out above the rest. My favorite is the 1984 version with George C. Scott. I also enjoy the 1999 Patrick Stewart version. These are examples of “faithful” adaptions.
