The highly-realistic Maersk diesel-electric freight train has arrived! A replica of the real engine that operated on the railroads of America, this Maersk train features exceptional detailing and functions, such as opening driver’s cab, removable side panel revealing a detailed, 16-cylinder engine, and authentic Maersk branding. The model also includes 2 wagons and 3 containers with opening doors (1 with refrigeration detailing). The set also includes a shunter truck and detachable trailer for loading and offloading the containers.
At Christmas I put different Lionel trains to run around the Christmas Tree. This year the Polar Express is racing around the tree. My daughter loves watching the trains. She is only two years old and loves trains, but knows that she can’t touch. I decided that this year I would also put up a train she can play with.
A few months ago I got the Fisher-Price catalog and saw the new Toys R’ Us exclusive Fisher-Price GeoTrax Christmas in ToyTown set. I instantly knew that this would be the train for my daughter. Fisher-Price was happy to send me a set to review:

This is a video of The Miniatur Wunderland model railroad in Hamburg, Germany. It’s the largest model railroad in the world, covering 16,146 square feet of space. Over 10,000 train engines and cars travel along the 7 miles of HO scale track.
