Hasbro has announced the Marvel Fan’s Choice. The top five fan favorites are

1. Archangel
2. Winter Soldier
3. Havok
4. Mystique
5. Mary Jane Watson

I’m really sad to see that Paper Bag Spider-Man wasn’t chosen. What a great opportunity to get a unique figure. I’m on board with the Mary Jane Watson character. I like expanding my collection to include civilian characters. However, Mystique as a choice? They would have made her eventually. The point of the poll was to choose characters that may not ever get made.

If your favorite choice didn’t win, there is still hope. Hasbro is going to make the top 7 for 2010. The final two will be revealed soon.

Marvel Universe is now giving us, the loyal fans, a chance to decide the next 5 Marvel Universe 3 3/4″ figures to produce. Celebrating Marvel’s 70th anniversary, you can cast your vote from over 70 Marvel characters. The top 5 choices will be added to the 2010 Marvel Universe lineup. Voting began on February 10th and ends on March 5th. Results will be announced March 1st @ Hasbro.com/Marvel.
