21st Century Toys P51-D Mustang

In WWII The P51-D Mustang's combat capabilities allowed it to escort the heavy USAAF bombers on immense daytime bombing raids over Germany. The Mustang gave the allies a decisive factor in the aerial battle over Germany. 21st Century Toys has now modeled this plane for their new Ultimate Soldier line.

A few months ago we featured 21st Century Toys Ultimate WWII soldiers. The details were very good on these figures, however The Big Beautiful Doll P51-D Mustang details are far superior. Detailed at 1:18 scale, the WWII US P51-D Mustang, comes in Silver with green and checkered trim. The plane also features removable fuel tanks, working landing gear and a removable cockpit canopy and flying ace. The wing span on this baby is 2 feet!

The small little details on this plane are amazing. Some of the nice touches are the lettering on the side of the plane giving the mustang's name "Big Beautiful Doll." The bolts are not just little circles drawn on the plane but raised texture bolts all over the body of the plane. The kill / bombing markings on the side of the cockpit give the plane that authenticity look and feel. The attention to details make the Mustang stand out from other toy planes.

The flying ace is about the size of a GI-Joe action figure. He comes equipped with a gun and oxygen mask.

21st Century Toys attention to detail and authenticity makes the P51-D Mustang a great plane to add to your collection. It is sure to make WWII collectors flip.[Ed note: You mean barrel-roll. Ok, that was bad.]
