You know, we don't have any other 24 or Rocky coverage on MPb, so we decided to double-dose ya and put both sets of pics into one overstuffed review. Enjoy.

I'd write a longer review but THERE ISN'T ANY TIME!

Seriously though. This is a nice four pack. It's not the first 24 pack of minimates. Its nice to get a different version of Jack. I also love the nuclear cannister and attache case.

There's an important issue I can't dance around any more. Michelle isn't wearing underpants. It's true. She's gone commando. Now here's the full truth. Years ago, McFarlane toys released an action figure of their warrior Angela. She was wearing a miniskirt. The piece of plastic that held her legs together was cast in flesh colored plastic like the rest of her body. Technically the piece wasn't intended to be seen, so why take the time to paint it or cast it in a different colored plastic? I'll tell you why... because "angry parents" (aka people with too much time on their hands) allegedly started writing letters, forcing McFarlane toys to decide to recast all pelvic pieces in white, to give the impression of underwear... should you happen to look under their skirt. Well collectors started snatching up the "pantyless Angela" (party Angela in some circles) and her value went up. Ever since then, most female action figures, while wearing a skirt of some sort, have been given underwear, "just in case." Well to make a point, both versions of Lorraine from the Back to the Future minimates is wearing a long dress/skirt, but her t-crotch (hot momma!) is white. So what happened? Why is Michelle not wearing any panties? Left the factory in a hurry? Or left someone's house too quickly. Or she just wants to feel glamorous.

You know, after a speech like that, there's not much else I can follow up with. The detail is nice, the articulation is great. And they're all ready to party.

Rocky II
This is another 4 pack that really packs a punch. Oh jeez... I can't believe I just did that. Wow. Anyway, I think it was wise for DST to release this set in a four pack. You get "Final Round" Rocky and Apollo (with appropriate face swelling); "Jacket Rocky"; and Paulie. You also get two sets of boxing gloves that can pop onto the contenders, and a championship belt. (That can be hoisted in the air, but not worn)

The detail is phenomenal. There are little markings on Rocky's boots. Somehow they fit "Heavyweight Champion" on the back of Apollo's robe. I love how his robe had a pearlescent quality to simulate silk.

My other favorite part is the "double duty" you get with Rocky and Apollo. You can display them in their robes, or you can slide those off, and they're ready to fight. There is detail on their trunks and chests. Here we go... see, toy makers do consider that you'll be stripping your action figures. You can pop off their fists and put on the boxing gloves.
