Mattel's Batman Begins Battle Gear Batman

With Star Wars Episode III coming out this year I haven't been even thinking about the new Batman film Batman Begins. While I was on a hunt for the early released Episode III toys I came across the new Batman Begins figures from Mattel. After going through the countless variations of Batman, I found the figure that is primarily just Batman. No big accessories sculpted on to him and no stupid camouflage or color variation; just Batman. Is it too much to ask for that?

The figure sculpt is actually very good with 10 points of articulation. I wasn't impressed with the figure from what I saw at Toy Fair but now that I have a good look at him, I like it a lot. I don't like the suit all that much especially with the Batman symbol black. I prefer the Michael Keaton suit.

Battle Gear Batman comes with a suitcase full of gadgets—just one problem... The figure can't carry the case and stand up. No matter what I did, the case is too heavy. I hope that in the film Batman doesn't carry around a briefcase to hold a batarang.

Overall the Battle Gear Batman is the figure to buy if you are interested in the new Batman Begins film. It is a decent sculpts and has some great accessories as long as he doesn't carry the briefcase.
