Diamond Select Toys now has these Marvel Icon busts avaialble for $45. We got to review Green Goblin and Thor. The artistry is impressive. My favorite part of both pieces are the little details. The overall posture and image captured are dynamic, but I really love the flow of Thor's cape, and how it's cut. The texture on his feathers are great. There's a real character to the sculpt. This doesn't look like a laser scan of an actor playing Thor, it's clearly meant to be an artist's interpretation of the idea of Thor. It's thick and intentional, and it's got real character. I like his heft. Green Goblin also looks maniacal, and straight from the comic pages. I think both of these pieces fit the idea of the Marvel Icons line and fit well with their others.

These are individually numbered busts, made of a sturdy resin, but they are completely in-articulate, so there's not much I can delve into regarding posing or playability. These are meant to look sharp on your shelf. One thing I'll point out, and maybe it's intentional. These pieces look nice individually, however, I think they look fantastic as part of a group of Icons. So pick our favorites and fill out that shelf a bit. They come with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
