LEGO Harry Potter Custom Contest Entries

The Harry Potter LEGO Custom contest is now over and wow what a response! All you Mugglenet.com and Millionaireplayboy.com readers have produced some excellent entries. It seems like there are a variety of opinions on what is going to happen in Book Seven. Seems like most of you forsee lots of death and destruction in the Potter world. A good portion of you constructed the final scene / battle between Harry and Vodermort. I was sad to see nobody recreating a scene with Harry and Snape embracing each other. Oh well! Now that the contest is over be sure to listen to an upcoming episode of Mugglecast for mine and Andrew's thoughts on the entries and of course the winner of the LEGO Hogwarts Castle! Meanwhile we would love to hear your opinion on which entry should win.

CONTEST ENTRY 01
Bloodshed at Hogwarts

Voldemort, along with his armies of Deatheaters, Inferi, and Dementors raids Hogwarts in order to find Harry Potter. Harry, who is searching for the Horcruxes with Ron and Hermione, is not there and many innocent lives are lost. After the battle, Hagrid, Lupin, and Wormtail are among the dead and Hogwarts closes for good.

Ron's Death

In this scene the trio have returned to Hogwarts to see if Dumbledore's Portrait has any information about the Horcruxes. Voldemort is attempting to kill Harry himself, instead of sending Death Eaters but Ron is sacrificing himself to save Harry. Hermione is in the corner looking through a chest for anything that could be a Horcrux.

Harry finds Voldemort and Harry shines the Two Way Mirror at the spell Voldemort casts which is the killing curse sending an opposite affecton it making it happen where every one Voldemort ever killed alive for awhile. This destracts Voldemort long enough that harry sends Avada Kedavra at him.

An Encounter in Gringotts

My scene shows Harry, Ron and Hermione in Gringotts, surrounded by gold and
jewels, with a dragon breathing fire at them. It is a lego version of the UK
cover for Deathly Hallows. On the real cover for the book, the trio are
surrounded by gold. There is a reflection of some fire in Harry's glasses,
and we are told in the first book that there are dragons in Gringotts (or it
is hinted at). This is why I think they are in Gringotts.

The Horcrux

In this Film Harry realizes that the locked was not the horcrux, but the basin it was in is! He returns with Aberforth Dumbledore to retreive it and have to drink the potion again. (towards the end I ran out of time to make them walk, hence, the sliding)

Godrics Hollow. He vicar stands before Bill and Fleur as he joins them
together in marriage. He weeding guests are (from left to right) Hagrid,
Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Fred, George Weasley, Charlie Weasley and Minerva
McGonagall.

Wormtail Repays His Life-Debt

This scene depicts Voldemort attempting to perform Avada Kedavra, the
killing curse, on Harry. Harry's wand is lying on the ground, just out of
reach, so he cannot defend himself. Wormtail owes Harry a life debt because
Harry saved his life in the Prisoner of Azkaban. Now, Wormtail is repaying
that debt by sacrificing himself so that Harry can live, by diving in the
way of the curse.

Harry decides that he must face Voldermort alone after Ron loses his leg fighting since he doesn't want his friends to get hurt anymore.

The Locket

Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger arrive at Number 12 Grimmauld Place followed by Kreacher the House Elf. Harry hurries to the Drawing room and finds a chest, opens it and there is the locket! I made the locket on my computer as well as the Black family Crests which are dotted around the set.
