13" Rotocast Hulk
By ToyBiz

click for largerThere is waaaay too much Hulk stuff out there. I really want a pair of Hulk Hands, but I'm waiting until they go on clearance. So I had to pick up something Hulk. I'm a big fan of this rotocast Hulk. Also I enjoy saying, check out my 13" Hulk.

click for larger This guy was actually pretty fun to play with, play meaning setting him up for pictures. I wish I had some large plastic brick walls for Hulk to smash. His size and joints lets you actually grip him and twist him around a bit to get the different poses. It takes such care to pose my McFarlane Terminator, and you can only do so much posing with Kubricks. So it was nice to have something I could accidentally drop, and not have to handle with care.

click for largerArticulation: Creative, yet not enough. The shoulders are ball jointed, and the elbow/wrist combo can get you some sweet poses. The ribcage and waist articulation are nice, but more limited than you would think. The legs swivel at the knee and pelvis. I would have liked a more traditional T-joint or other way of fixing the legs to the pelvis. You can only really get his legs in one position that will let him stand. I had to feel under his pants to get the joints to line up right.

The did a great job painting his face too. In my experience with a toy like this, I was expecting a sloppy paint job, or only two more colors. Put they pulled it off very nicely.

Pants: His pants are nice. They sit on the figure well, look like they were made for this toy.

Overall: Not bad for $10. You're a little limited in the poses he can get into, but those poses are cool and dynamic, and you can really man-handle the sucker. It's amazing what people can do with a bit of time and some hot liquid goo.

You can win this Hulk right now. Check out our Smashing Hulk coverage for details.

Miss the boat on picking this guy up? Get him from Amazon.com/Toys R Us.
