 Uglydoll's Sailor Babo
with jager
Ahoy thar!! Sailing the seven seas, or more than likely his bathtub, is Sailor Babo. The Uglydoll camp has been pretty busy introducing 4 new characters so far this year as well as bringing us this fine looking Captain. Freebento.com is boosting their plush section and thought we'd dig taking a look at this scalawag, and they were right! He's so cute he deserves a little attention... and love.
Sailor Babo was brought about because so many fans wanted him. You see, originally this guy was sold at Ugly Con. In fact, he was the mascot of sorts. He was limited 50 at the show and came in the original Uglydoll size. Fans begged David and Sun Min for more Sailor Babos (because there's a lot more than 50 Uglydoll fans) and being the thoughtful folk they are they agreed. However to keep the exclusive rare and special, they are only releasing Sailor Babo to the masses in mini (seen here) and giant forms! So everyone is happy, even those who were lucky enough to get the OG version.
Like all Uglydolls, Sailor Babo is made of super soft material and stitched very tightly. The filling is even with no lumps or empty spots and even his hat is on there pretty secure. I'm a little hesitant to give him to my son though. He loves his Uglies and they can take his rough-housing but I'm worried for Sailor Babo's hat. We'll call this one "Dad's" for now. Other than the hat, he looks just like the original Babo: round eyes, straight mouth, buck teeth, and the expression that just screams, "Where are the cookies?"
If you are looking for something soft and fun to share with a tyke or a loved one Head over the Freebento.com and pick up a Sailor Babo. He's like your old pal Babo, but improved with a fancy hat!
