Medicom Toy's Grand Theft Auto Vice City Kubricks

They did it again! Medicom Toy, out of Japan, put together a group of their block figure Kubricks in the style of Rockstar Games' GTA: Vice City. You get all of your favorites, Tommy Vercetti, Lance Vance, Ricardo Diaz, Candi Suxx, and Ken Rosenberg. Each one comes with an appropriate accessory as well. Tommy comes with a shotgun, Lance comes with a machine gun, Ricardo, an automatic, Candi, a camera, and Ken, a wine bottle.

Like their popular GTA III Kubricks, these figures clearly resemble characters from the game, yet still adhere to the block figure format. They feature eight points of articulation, and some great detail at such a small size. They rotate at the head, arms, wrists, waist, and hips.

Being a photographer, I had the most fun with Candi and her camera, as you can see below. Even though she's a all bricked out, she looks pretty cool wearing her thong bikini.

If you were to pick these up, I highly recommend some flashy 1:18 scale cars for them to pose with. It's almost a perfect fit. In some models, you may need to pop off the the legs and waist for them to sit properly behind the wheel, but either way, they look pretty good.

So are we going to get San Andreas figures in the future? Only time will tell, but if you leave these little guys in their handsome flip-top box, mint, or you bust em out and let them loose on your die cast car collection, they'll look smart and hip in your collection. I had a lot of fun shooting photos of these, if you can't play Vice City every waking minute, might as well take these pocket fellas with you.
