Star Wars Comes to Blu-Ray!

Highly Anticipated Complete Star Wars™ Saga Readied for High Definition Blu-ray Debut
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (August 14, 2010) – Today at Star Wars Celebration V, Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment announced that the complete Star Wars Saga will come to Blu-ray Disc with a worldwide release in Fall 2011. The Star Wars Blu-ray Box Set will feature all six live-action Star Wars feature films utilizing the highest possible picture and audio presentation, along with extensive special features – including documentaries, vintage behind-the-scenes moments, interviews, retrospectives and never-before-seen footage from the Lucasfilm archives.

Family Guy: It’s A Trap!

Toy Story 1 & 2 Blu-Ray Review

Fifteen years ago (yeah 1995 was that long ago) Toy Story debuted in theaters, and introduced us to the future of animation. After, its release a slew of “Pixar copy cats” filled theaters. None of theses copy cats could compete with Pixar. I’m not talking about the animation, I’m referring to the story. That is what makes Pixar successful, the stories. Toy Story is still captivating. Now with Toy Story 3 hitting theaters this summer, we finally get Toy Story and Toy Story 2 on Blu Ray.

G.I.-JOE (1987) Coming to Blu-Ray

The good G.I. JOE movie is now hitting Blu-Ray. Brian Ward, Shout! Factory’s DVD producer, tweeted:

“So the print’s in excellent condition. Looks like we’ll be doing GI JOE: THE MOVIE on Blu-ray” and “…the end credits for GI JOE: THE MOVIE finally came in. Gonna have a complete HD transfer!”

I love the old G.I. JOE film. I already own a copy on DVD, but I would love to see it in HD!

Teen Wolf 25th Anniversary

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the film Teen Wolf. Fan Kyle Scholler interviewed actor James Hapton who played the father from the film. He is also looking for people for support to push MGM to release a 25th anniversary Blu-Ray release for this ’80s classic.
