William Shatner stars on the new CBS show $#*! My Dad Says, based on the Twitter feed Shit My Dad Says. Shatner plays the role of  the older dad that provides his son with amusing quotes that he documents for us to read. The show fails to capture the humor of the Twitter feed. The Wheaton Recurrence

Wil Wheaton returns to The Big Bang Theory tonight as Sheldon’s arch nemesis. Over on Wil’s site he posted a blog about the show and a link to another preview of the tonights show:

I’m in Canada, working on Eureka, so I couldn’t watch the previews CBS put online for The Wheaton Recurrence. Using all of my Evil Wil Wheaton powers, I contacted a sympathetic mole deep within the CBS Fortress of Power and got my hands on this preview. I’m sorry I had to disable embedding, but it’s the only way I could outrun CBS’s army of lawyers. I’ll leave it online as long as they let me.

Believe it or not, it was really difficult to get the timing just right on the reveal of Evil Wil Wheaton. The camera had to move into a precise position, and then Jim and I had to be in exactly the right place when he sat up and I turned around. I think we had to try it eight times before we finally got all the pieces to click together correctly.

First Picture of Wil Wheaton’s Next Big Bang Theory Appearance

I’m a huge fan of The Big Bang Theory and I loved the first appearance of Wil Wheaton playing himself.  On April 12, the feud continues with Sheldon’s nemesis. Wil posted this picture on his blog and had this to say:

This picture was taken after we’d been working all day on all the scenes that take place in the bowling alley. It turns out that shooting pretend bowling sequences is really complicated, and just a few minutes of final cut takes several hours to film.

What you can’t see is how Jim and I are trying like crazy not to crack up, on account of something that was said just before the picture was taken.

…no, I’m not going to repeat it. I have to keep some things for myself, guys.

Obligatory Tune-in Reminder: The Wheaton Recurrence airs April 12 on CBS.
