The Andy Warhol Museum opens The Vader Project

The Vader Project exhibition officially opens up February 28th at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The exhibit is the definition of “Pop Art”, making it even more appropriate that the Andy Warhol Museum is the first museum appearance. I stopped by this morning to film a upcoming video podcast, and took a few photographs. The museum is having a special opening celebration this weekend where you can create your own Vader mask collage drawing. They are also encouraging fans to come dressed as your favorite character.

MyPlasticHeart: Get Jet-Black & Featherlight this Friday!

U.K. Illustrator/Painter Guy McKinley comes to myplasticheart with a new set of paintings and prints featuring his latest works. He will also be debuting for the first time his resin figure based off a character featured in this exhibit for the opening night only. Guy will be making the trek from the U.K. to NYC and will be available to chat and sign at the opening reception.

ESC Toys’ Kissaki – Wicked colorway

ESC Toys’ newest toy may look cute, but beneath the robes of the innocent looking girl, Kissaki, a killer waits. The newest colorway of the toy is definitely “Wicked” with a great blend of shades of purple with black and blue-green highlights. In my opinion, this is the best colorway so far and I can’t help but think of the Incredible Hulk a bit when I look at the palette used.
